We are excited to welcome Kim Bell as our new Program Manager for Warm Beach Vaulters! Kim began using her experience as an Equine Balancer (horse spinal adjuster) for the club in 2012 when her daughter, Madison joined the Warm Beach Vaulters. She brings with her 35 years of horse experience, including coaching and starting a vaulting team, certification in Equine Accupressure, and extensive training and riding. She is certified both with Certified Vaulting Association (CHA) and has completed rigorous training as a level 1 FEI (International) coach. Her desire is to use horses as a tool to teach our youth confidence in Christ and in themselves. Kim is married and has 4 children and 2 adorable grandchildren. When she has a spare moment, she enjoys trail riding with friends and spending time with her family.
Allison is a Silver level vaulter with more than 10 years of competitive experience. She started vaulting in 2004 with Mt. Rainier Vaulters. Joining Warm Beach Vaulters in 2010, She has competed on several teams including the 2013 National Champion B Team. Allison says, "Vaulting has always given me a place where I can express myself and I love using that expression and my passion for the sport to grow young people. My favorite part about coaching is seeing someone make a breakthrough. I believe in vaulting’s ability to teach people not only to stand on horses, but to stand on their own."
Allison coaches the trot vaulters and brings amazing enthusiasm and fun to every class.
Shelby has been vaulting since 2006, though she has always loved horses and began riding dressage at the age of six! Shelby has an incredible work ethic which earned her a spot on the A-Team as an outstanding base. She began coaching in 2013 and coached the Warm Beach C-Team. In 2014, she also began longeing for the club and enjoys working with both horses and people. Currently, her focus has been more on longeing horses and doing some of the cross-training with the horses. In addition to vaulting, she will be going to college this fall, pursuing a degree in one of the medical fields. Shelby also enjoys playing the violin.
Kaleb has been vaulting since 2006. He started at trot and was the flyer for the Warm Beach Vaulters Trot Team that won first place in National Competition in 2007. He has since moved on to Gold and was on the US National Team for the Junior World Championships in Ermelo, The Netherlands in 2015. In 2016, Kaleb was the alternate for the USA men's team at the World Championships in LeMans, France. Kaleb is a dedicated athlete with a rigorous training schedule that includes yoga, running, and vaulting fitness training. Kaleb is the Copper (first year canter) coach. When he is not vaulting, working out, and studying for school, he enjoys hiking, hunting, and fun times with friends.
Daniel has been vaulting since 2011. He has the distinction of reaching the Gold level within two years of his vaulting career. Daniel has competed on various "A" and "B" teams as well as Pas de Deux. In 2015, he and his teammate, Anna Erickson took their Pas de Deux (Pairs) routine to a 3* Senior Competition in Ermelo, The Netherlands where they finished second. Daniel has been coaching for strength training and vaulting for various levels over the past several years and his himself a very disciplined and accomplished athlete. He hopes to return to international competition even while studying mathematics in college. When not vaulting, working out, or studying for college, Daniel enjoys music, hiking, and hanging out with friends.
